A few days ago I posted Marissa's senior session and a few of the pictures of her and her twin brother, Gavin, together. Because I had so many favorites, though, from their session I decided to break their blog posts into two separately! So, today is Gavin's turn!
Gavin pretty much let his sister do most of the planning since she was more excited about senior portraits than he was but I definitely wanted him to feel like these pictures were for him also and not just Marissa. I made sure to suggest locations that would fit both of their personalities and work well with each of their outfits. Roswell Mill was the perfect location to start their session. We began with this outfit with his red and black Jordans because this look was great in this spot and would have looked out of place at our next stop, Barrington Hall.
We then moved onto our second location for his pink polo with jeans and his more dressed up looks. Barrington is great for both guys and girls because I used more of the buildings for Gavin's images and focused on the gardens for Marissa. This way their images went well together in their album but don't look exactly the same!
Just days before our first session together, Gavin found out he was accepted to his dream school: Baylor University! He had ordered a t-shirt but it didn't arrive before our initial session so we scheduled a separate time to take some pictures with his cap and gown and his Baylor shirt. We decided to use the football field at Sequoyah for the location so we could keep things close to home and I think it's especially meaningful to be able to take some pictures at school.
Gavin, I'm so excited for you and you are going to do great things at Baylor!
