Noah's senior portraits turned out great! He wanted a nature setting for his pictures and also wanted to include his ROTC uniform. I felt like the best place to wear his ROTC outfit would be on his school's Ranger course at King's Academy. When you have a very specific outfit or athletic uniform you want in your pictures looks great if you can be in an environment where you would wear it; whether that's a football uniform or bringing your lacrosse stick or pointe shoes. But don't overlook the possibility that it would be really cool to bring any of those things into a place you wouldn't expect to see them either!
I especially love that including some of your extracurricular activities provides us with a little bit of a story about who you are and how you spend your time. It shows what your values and interests are!
For Noah's last outfit we went to Rope Mill Park in Woodstock. This can be a hard location because the light disappears so soon but it's such a pretty place! I don't use this location often because it can be really crowded but if you time it right then it works well. His plaid shirt looked great against the river and trees and I only got my shoe stuck in mud just once! lol I really should remember to leave my boots in the car just in case I need them!
