This beautiful girl, Nora, is the daughter of one of my photographer friends! I first met her mom, Joy, online because she used to do a lot of senior portraits in our area also. She has stopped doing photography as a business and now has a small farm with goats for hire, sheep, mini cows and several dogs. Two of their dogs are English Springer Spaniels like our dog Wally. They were kind enough to keep him while we were away on vacation last year and we were so glad he had a sweet family to watch over him!
Nora saw Kayla's pictures on Instagram and also wanted to do some pictures in a field of wildflowers. Finding a field like that close to home is a little harder but a farm in Milton started planting wildflowers last year and the week that they were in full bloom we ran over there just before a rainstorm and got some gorgeous pictures! We had to do a little creative Photoshopping and finding good angles to avoid a couple birthday balloons in the background but it was a great spot.
We knew we wanted to get a couple more outfits into her senior pictures and in another location so we scheduled the second part of her senior portraits later in the season. My friend Mary generously let us use her property and it was perfect for a rustic and natural background to go well with the flowers from the first part of her session! I love the light here and Nora's outfits were so cute!
