One of the greatest compliments I receive is when a family chooses me to do senior portraits for all their kids! Repeat clients!
I took Bradley's senior pictures in 2019, Scott's older brother (Class of 2020). That was the year I was using primarily my digital camera but I was taking my film camera along with me to build a film portfolio. So, I was thrilled when Jennifer, Scott's mom, trusted me to use only film at his session! I've also improved by leaps and bounds since I switched to film and my posing and my approach is really different which actually makes me want to do Bradley's session over again. lol
We went to a different location for Scott's portraits but stayed with an urban location so that their pictures coordinate well. It also matched his personality and outfit choices so much better than a nature location. We scheduled his session really early in the summer and got really lucky with weather that wasn't scorching.
Scott played both football and lacrosse at Fellowship Christian Academy and the main reason for scheduling his session in early summer was so that he'd be at his lacrosse weight and not after he bulked up for football. It's honestly something I'd never thought to ask before! Now I know to ask if guys are involved in multiple sports if they have a preference about when to have their pictures taken. In the end, it makes a huge difference on how much they like their images!
