Picture the perfect family portrait session: 

- You've picked out awesome outfits

- You're going to a beautiful location

- Your toddler is in the best mood and took a nice long nap earlier

- Your amazing husband is even excited about it!

     You show up all ready and then...your crazy photographer texts you to say she completely miscalculated how long it would take her to get to the location and she's going to be an HOUR LATE and will arrive with only minutes to spare before the sun sets!!!

     Yep. That'd be me.

     I did that to these beautiful people and I'm sure the only reason they waited patiently for me to arrive was because they're related to me! I'm SO THANKFUL they did! Look what we were able to capture in 20 minutes with overcast skies and no sun to be found! I still shake my head in amazement that any of Kim and Andy's pictures turned out even slightly okay let alone this adorable. I honestly did NOT think we would come away with anything salvageable and I was so relieved when I got these scans from my lab.

     Piper is the absolute cutest and she started out a little shy but warmed right up to the process! I love her adorable squinchy nose!

     Kim and Andy, you are both complete saints and I'm so glad you didn't disown me! I love you all TONS and wish you lived closer so we could hang out more!
