If you know Madison, you know how sweet she is and, if you don't know her, I think it's pretty obvious just from these first two images from her senior session last November! Her smile is amazing! She was one of my last sessions of the fall and we had so much fun in spite of how chilly it was! Thank goodness we had some sunshine or it might have been entirely too cold for us.
Garrard Landing Park was a great location for her and I love the outfits she chose! Especially this first one with her black dress and boots!
Cherokee High School Drum Major
Madison was one of the drum majors at Cherokee High School last year and is an incredibly talented musician! She plans to continue to participate in marching band at Georgia Tech this year and I know that will be an incredible experience for her!
Normally when students bring their letterman jackets I tell them, "Don't worry, I won't have you wear it for very long. I know how hot it is with it on!" But I don't think Madison probably even wanted to take hers off this day! It was definitely keeping her warm and I'm glad she brought it with her!
We were definitely hurrying to get this next outfit done because those short sleeves on this cold day just weren't nearly warm enough but I'm so glad we were able to get this outfit in some of her senior pictures because it went so well with the covered bridge that is at the park! Thankfully, her last outfit was much warmer with her jeans and sweater and you can see on her face how much more comfortable she was.
I'm sure after her session, Madison probably ran straight to the car to turn on the heat and went to get something warm for dinner! I know I did! I try to dress in the same amount of layers as my clients so that I'm not all toasty while they're freezing but I'll admit I had on my warm coat on this day! November can be so fickle with the weather: sometimes we get super mild temperatures and sometimes we get a blast of cold like this day!
Madison, thanks for bearing through this chilly day and for asking me to be your senior photographer! I hope your freshman year at Georgia Tech is going amazingly!
