I hardly know where to begin with this post.
This amazing young woman has made a lifelong impression on me. Ella is one of the reasons I became ridiculously attached to Sequoyah's 2020 seniors. She's the epitome of their graduating class. Class of 2020 was something extra special. And not because of a pandemic. Their enthusiasm and genuine love for each other was well established before they had to go through such a rough ending to their senior year. It seemed every one of them enjoyed and nurtured their friendships, strived for excellence academically and gave themselves wholeheartedly to class spirit. I've never known such an amazing group of kids and I'm so thankful for them. This girl was one of their leaders throughout high school. Class President 3 years in a row, Chiefs mascot, getting their class organized for events, and showing how to have genuine love and pride for your school, its teachers and staff and for each other. She's sensitive and compassionate and I'm proud to know her.
Ella values the community she comes from and is sentimental and wanted her session to reflect that. When she said she wanted to do part of her session on Waters Road I knew we were going to get some really fun and unique images! I'm so happy she has these pictures to look at and remember her senior year (though it was hardly forgettable).
