NO! You are definitely not too late to take your senior portraits! But NOW is the time to get it scheduled! Waiting until March to look for a photographer, or worse: after Spring Break, will mean slim pickings! The best senior photographers in Atlanta have all of their spring appointments already booked by the end of February.
Most seniors have their pictures taken the summer or fall BEFORE graduation year but the spring right before you graduate is a super popular time to get it done also so you're not too late! Some students even prefer to wait until springtime when the trees are in bloom and the weather and temperatures are nicer. Some want to have their session in spring because they are just so busy with a fall sport or activity that it would just be too stressful to try to fit something so important into their calendars!
Caitlin's Spring Senior Session
Caitlin decided to wait until spring to schedule her senior session and it was the perfect time to do it at the location she had chosen: West Milford Farm in Cumming, GA. This location is SO special and has so much to offer in springtime! It's honestly a beautiful venue any time of year because of the adorable greenhouse.
Caitlin picked out amazing outfits for her portraits! I always recommend having a couple casual outfits and a couple dressier outfits so you have plenty of variety to your images. This is also such a special occasion that you really want to choose outfits you probably wouldn't wear every day but they should definitely fit your personality...just maybe on a more elevated level!
We had such an incredible time together! Her mom and her mom's best friend, who is like a second mom to Caitlin, came along to share in the experience and made her session even more memorable. Do NOT underestimate the power of an encouraging team to help you relax and be yourself! Bring along people who love you unconditionally and who always have positive things to say to you.
Her session was absolutely one of the highlights of 2022 for me and getting to spend this time with her and be such an important part of her senior year experience means the world!
