One of the aspects of my job is finding locations that suit each client's personality and make sense with the outfits they've chosen. There are so many factors that go into a good location: great light, accessibility, safety, variety, etc.. I'm always a little nervous when a client asks for a specific location that I haven't visited before; I don't always know what to expect and I'm hoping I can make it work. As it turned out, I didn't have to be worried because this location was absolutely amazing! Ty and his mom asked for this park in Marietta that has been a place their family has grown up in for decades. I love when a client has a special connection to a location!
For his session, Ty picked out some perfect outfits and also brought his mountain bike and this very special location provided the perfect backdrop! As an Eagle Scout, I knew he would be adventurous enough to go along with a few of my more unique ideas. At one point I asked him, "Do you think you could jump over this brush to get down into that spot?" and he was happy to oblige! And I was so happy when he didn't mind me asking him to ride past me on his bike several different times so that I could get just the right angles. I had so much fun with him, his mom and his grandma (who I know from church)!
