Our Fall Break in New Orleans & Santa Rosa Beach

We finally were able to scratch Louisiana off our USA map!  We've taken road trips to the Grand Canyon and to Maine and covered all the states between the two but Louisiana got overlooked and maybe one day we'll get to see the states from Minnesota over to California. After a VERY hot day in New Orleans eating beignets at Cafe du Monde, po boys at Mother's, and delicious cajun food at Cajun Mike's we headed to our favorite beach - Santa Rosa Beach in South Walton, Florida, stopping at Gulf Breeze Zoo in Pensacola on our way.  This was our 6th visit to Santa Rosa Beach and the 5th time we've stayed in our favorite neighborhood, Old Florida Village.  Every house we've stayed in has been awesome but Seas 30A is our new favorite!  We knew a bunch of families vacationing on 30A and I was even able to arrange a mini senior portrait session which was amazing!
