Jack - Woodstock Senior Portraits

I had four seniors bring their dogs to their sessions this year! Each of them did really well and it was so fun to capture their relationships. Jack brought Posey with him and she was such a good girl the whole time and having her there really helped us tell more of story about who Jack is. It felt more like a documentary than a portrait session and yet we were able to get some really great portraits in the process! I love when my clients want to include family members, friends and pets into their pictures. I think that oftentimes we feel more relaxed when we're surrounded by people/animals that love us than when we are the only one being photographed. Obviously not every dog or every pet is going to make a session more fun - some are too anxious or energetic and can make a session more stressful. But in this case, it really did work out so nicely since his mom and her friend were there to help and keep the dog entertained and busy when I needed to take pictures of Jack by himself.
