Before I get into this post, I have to start by saying I have the most amazing photographer friends! They are women and men who are encouraging and supportive and incredibly talented! I'm thankful for every single one of them and the time, knowledge and wisdom they've invested in me personally over the years.
Our family photographer, Adrienne Graves, is one of those friends.
I've gotten to know her well over the last few years and I enjoy every minute we get to spend together. She has taken our family portraits twice in the last 3 years and done some business branding images and videos for my business. I love how easy she makes our sessions and that I always end up loving every picture! She's kind of a magician in my mind because she has a way of getting great pictures even when my kiddos are being goofy and when I'm feeling old and frumpy. LOL I love how she can turn even a plain or challenging background into an image with depth and personality. She's amazing!
We had so much fun at our session this year and I'm so glad we didn't worry about the weather forecast which was predicting rain! We were ready a little early so I shot her a message and asked if she was available to start sooner so that we wouldn't run into rain. I figured even if we only managed to get in a couple pictures then I'd be happy but the rain held off and we were able to get in a full session and just as we were headed home the rain started.
This picture below is one of my very favorites because we're all kind of focused on Parker who is graduating this year. We did family pictures the year that Cameron graduated also and I think it's so important to get some pictures of all your family together before kids start moving out of the house.
